The following information will assist you with downloading installation files via the Internet and then finding those files to complete your installation process:

Step #1:  When you click on a download link, your computer will ask you to select a location to place the file.  Save the installation file to your hard drive.  When you save a file to your hard drive, you can save the file to the folder of your choice.  The easiest method is to accept the default folder your computer selects for you.  It is a good idea to make a notation of the name and location of the folder where the Bid4Build*.exe installation file will be saved

Below is an example of the Bid4Build Demo File Download Screen:

Step #2.  Once the download is complete, navigate (using a program such as Windows Explorer) to the file (Bid4Build*.exe).  Once you find the file, double-click on this file to start the installation process.  From there, follow the on-screen instructions. 

READ THE FOLLOWING ONLY IF YOU'RE HAVING TROUBLE WITH STEP #2 IN THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE:  

Step #3 (only if you are not able to successfully complete step #2)

1.  Make sure you do not have a copy of Bid4Build running on your computer.

2.  Open Windows Explorer by following the steps below:

    (Step 1) - Click Start at the bottom of your screen
    (Step 2) - Click Programs
    (Step 3) - Find and start Windows Explorer (should be in your Programs->Accessories folder)

3.  Navigate to the directory where the file was stored. (See next section if you cannot find your downloaded file)

4.  Double-click on the file you just downloaded, (Bid4Build*.exe).  This will start the installation process.

5.  From there, follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the installation.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I AM UNABLE TO FIND THE FILE I JUST DOWNLOADED IN STEP #3 ABOVE?

1.   Go to the Windows Start Button (at the bottom left corner of your screen ); then click on Search or Find. 

2.   Type Bid4Build*.exe in the search box where it asks for the file name.  Make sure to look in C:\

3.   Make sure that if you have a selection box which says "Include subfolders" that this is checked so you will be searching your entire hard-drive.

4.   Hit Enter or click on Search/Find Now.  The computer will then begin the search and find the file.

5.   Double click on the file found, (i.e. Bid4Build*.exe).  This will start the installation program.

6.   Follow the on-screen prompts.  After these steps are completed, the Bid4Build program will be installed.
