Absolutely amazing!
Purchased the software and bid my first
job (totaling over ½ million dollars) with
it just 21 days later! ("Thanks a ½
million!"). My support tech was
literally available 24/7. How user friendly
is the software? Well I also purchased the
(2) hour Customer Instruction & Orientation
Package and have not used any of it yet!
Let me give you a
little history of our company. We are a
General Contractor that has been in business
over 60 years and do roughly 6-8 million
dollars of commercial work a year. So this
software is not just for the Residential
Contractor. We purchased "Timberline"
software over 10 years ago and have never
got up and running on it. Went to training
(3) times and had a support tech even come
to the office for (3) days but I never felt
comfortable using the software and went
back to my old estimating software. Also
amazing is that we paid more for a years
support with "Timberline" than
we did for the "Bid4Build" software!
If you want user
friendly estimating software (at a very
reasonable price) that provides you with
the necessary tools you do need and does
not throw in a bunch of bells and whistles
that you don't need then "Bid4Build"
should be your choice.
Last but not least,
the support staff is also absolutely amazing!
I wrote in a list of (3) items that I would
like the software to do to cater to my needs
and they had an update out in less than
48 hrs fulfilling those needs! Now that's
service! Thanks Guys! A Job Well Done!

I've been a Bid4Build customer for the
last several years and have had only positive
things to say about this program and their
support staff. When I had first started
using it, I was so impressed that I wrote
a testimonial which was posted on the Bid4Build
website. I was recently asked by their development
team to try the new "Bid4Build Version
3.5 Enterprise Edition". The new enhancements
they've made to the program are incredible,
therefore I felt the need to write yet another
letter to let everyone know how happy I
am with this program and the quality of
customer service this company provides.
First, I have been using Bid4Build's Craftsman
costbook bundle and have been very pleased
with the variety of items I now have to
choose from. I occasionally do insurance
work and find that the format of the Renovation
and Insurance Repair costbook is perfect
for this application. They have the "remove"
and "replace" costs grouped together
under each item. This makes it very easy
to complete an estimate accurately and quickly.
Recently a major storm passed through
my area and I processed quite a few insurance
estimates using version 3.5 and saved hours
of time with the new "Multiple Area
Items Transfer". Improvements made
to the estimate maintenance screens make
editing a snap. These new features are sure
to save valuable time on future estimates
as well.
Another useful improvement is the "Advanced
To Do List". You can schedule appointments
or enter any other important information
and be reminded of it on the pre-selected
due date. When saving an estimate to a file
you can automatically add the estimate to
the To Do List for future follow up. This
feature has already proved invaluable since
it alerted me to follow up on a deck estimate
which I forgot about. This resulted in a
signed contract which I would've otherwise
lost. There are many other features that
have also been added to Bid4Build Version
3.5 which I have yet to try, but I'm sure
I will like every one of them.

This is without a doubt the best construction
estimating software for the money I've found.
I have been through every demo on the market,
and worked with quite a few other systems.
I had actually given up on finding anything
out there that would allow me to estimate
MY way, and planned to continue using my
customized Excel spreadsheets, until I found
Bid4Build.
I like the layout of the program, and the
help documentation is outstanding.
The most important features for me though
are the flexibility of the program, and
the direct importing and exporting from
Excel. Since Excel is the program
most used by estimators, this really helps
get you up and running quickly.
As a professional estimator, I need a flexible
program that will allow me to give each
of my clients estimates and material lists
in their company's format. Bid4Build
does the job!
The National Estimator pricing is also very
helpful. I used to buy the yearly
updates from Craftsman, and then spend the
time inputting the pricing I needed into
Excel. Being able to pull the pricing
directly into Bid4Build is a huge timesaver.
Finally, the support is outstanding.
I've made quite a few requests for additional
features to be added to the program, and
they have been....quickly! Try getting
another company to do THAT!

Prior
to purchasing Bid4Build Estimating
software I had been using one of those
$4,000 programs for estimating. I
made the change because I became tired
of the expensive updates every 6 months
and all the updates amounted to was
more bells and whistles that are really
of no significance when it comes down
to estimating quickly and accurately.
When I first visited the Bid4Build
website and began reading about all
the amenities, I said to myself, well,
I can imagine what they are going
to ask for this program. I was amazed
at the cost of the program, I immediately
ordered and this has been one of the
best investments I have made for the
productivity of my Company for sometime.
It contains many & possibly more
of the features found in much more
expensive programs, for example, Seamless
Importing/Exporting of database to
MS Excel, anyone using estimating
software can tell you the benefits
of this amenity. Assembly capabilities,
this is what speeds up estimating
time considerably. Awesome report
capabilities, for customer as well
as in house.
And last but very well the most important
of all attributes is the Customer
- Tech support you receive from this
company. It is by far the best I have
seen up to this point, they are available
when you need help and stay with you
until the problem is solved. If you
want the most bang for your bucks
this is the software you need.

Amazing software! I have used virtually
every estimating software on the market
at one time or another. When I stumbled
across the link to Bid4Build I liked
it but was skeptical due to the price
(literally 10% of many of its competitors).
I
purchased the software and the Craftsman
cost book, Downloaded, installed it
,went through the guided tour and
the quick start manual, and created
an estimate of a job I had already
built in under 3 hrs.
The
Bid4Build bid came in so close to
my original bid that I felt comfortable
enough to use it on a pending project
right there and then. I bid the job
(a $700,000.00 remodel project) in

Bid4Build is by far the best software out
there for the money. I found that you can
do as much or more with Bid4Build than you
can with the higher priced software.
Customer support has been great, they respond
very quickly. They were able to set up the
software for our network within days not
weeks or months with other software.
We also like the new feature of having the
software on the network, this has helped
with pulling up jobs with other stations.
I would recommend this software for the

several months of searching for a cost-effective

I did have a few questions about certain parts

program. If I couldn’t find the answer to
my question in their extensive help index,
I would email
a Bid4Build support representative. The response
time from Bid4Build is incredible! Almost
immediately after sending them an email, I
would have a return message waiting for me.
If the
answer to my question was a little more involved,
a knowledgeable support representative would
call me at my office and explain everything
in detail.
Whether you are purchasing an estimating program
for the first time or have already used some
other type of software, take my advice and
don’t make the same mistake that I did by
purchasing
one of those over priced packages. Bid4Build
is the only program that gets the job done
quickly,
accurately and at an affordable price! Bid4Build
is the only program on the market that I would
