Bid4Build
Enterprises, LLC. is a an authorized reseller of Craftsman Book Company construction
cost information. Craftsman provides us with yearly updated information
on the latest items and costs from the
National General Construction (NCE) costbook; National Renovation Insurance Repair
(NRI) costbook; and the National Home Improvement (NHI) 2008 costbook database
As
part of our reseller agreement, Craftsman provides us with the cost information
in a specific format which we then use to integrate directly into our Bid4Build
system. Note:
If you are an
existing Craftsman customer, it is not possible to use the proprietary files distributed
with the Craftsman program at a retail level with the Bid4Build software. This
would also be considered a license violation by Craftsman. You will need to purchase
the Bid4Build version of the Craftsman costbook databases and PDF files which
have been correctly formatted to enable integration with the Bid4Build software.
Once
you start using the Bid4Build system with the Craftsman costbook databases, our
sophisticated database search mechanisms can quickly and easily locate any item

When you purchase the Bid4Build Craftsman costbook
databases from Bid4Build, there is a one-time retail purchase price for the costbook.
Each year, we provide updated costbook databases and PDF files for a nominal fee.
The yearly fee is currently
$35 per costbook. This cost covers the expenses associated with cost data conversion,
integration, hosting, download, and processing requirements for customer distribution.
